My name is Perry Miles. I have been tutoring for nine years and am currently taking care of a student who needed a great amount of help in Geometry and Algebra. His grades have improved so much, that the mother asked if I could tutor other subjects including for the SAT exam. Those grades have turned around so much that he went from struggling in most of his classes, to potentially earning 90's for an entire semester (1/2 year). I recently moved to the St. Petersburg Area (Fusion1560) to work at Blake Medical Center (as the Quality Data Analyst) after graduating with my Masters Degree from USF-Tampa. I earned a 3.8 GPA during my Masters Program and continue my education professionally and in the classroom (including learning how to use Business Objects, R Programming, and advanced Calculus). I grew up in New York City (Queens) which is why there is a (718) area code attached to my cell phone number. During my high school career, I took many AP exams (including Calculus) and received scores of 5 out of 5 in the respective Math areas while receiving National Honorable Mention for a research project (sponsored by Intel) studying the effects of loud music on a persons' hearing. While I went through high school, I received the English award, which came with monetary compensation, and attended one of the elite broadcast journalism Universities in the country (Syracuse).
